BCL's standard DNA controls can be used as positive controls in nucleic acid amplification reactions (in standard PCR), for restriction enzyme analysisand also as probes for insitu hybridization after labeling with biotin or other tags.
Viral DNA is prepared from virus purified from infected cell supernatants, and contain viral DNA with less than 1% cellular DNA contamination.
Virus transformed cell DNA controls are isolated from cells containing integrated viral DNA into the cell genome. DNA controls are purified from appropriate starting material, and the concentration is determined by OD at 260 nm. Custom nucleic acid preparations in larger quqntities are also available.
DNA Controls are for research use only and are not for use in diagnostic assays.
