 Phase 1.     Immunization

Immunization of Balb/c mice (3-5 animals) with antigen using our properitary immunization method.

Test bleed mice and check for antibody titer by ELISA and the mouse with highest titer will be used for cell fusion.

2-4 weeks 

Phase 2.    Fusion

Fusion of spleen cells with myeloma cell line.

48 hours after fusion the cells are transferred to a special container for growing single cells.

Our method allows selection and expansion of single cells into clones, therefore no recloning of the parental clones are needed.

1-2 weeks 

Phase 3.     Screening 

Single colonies are tested for antibody production by our properitary screening method.

Positive clones are expanded  and frozen as parental clones

1 week 

Phase 4.     Stabilization of selected clones,  isotyping and delivery of the hybridomas

5 clones with the best specificity will be expanded and hybridoma medium will be collected for further analysis by the customer.

Isotypes for the clones will be determined, and the hybridomas delivered to customer

 2-3 weeks

TOTAL TIME

6-10 weeks 

Phase 5.      Ascites production if requested

Production of ascitic fluids from positive clones selected by the customer
